We are KBCODE Poland — a team of IT professionals creating a product that will change the world. — Studio manifesto, 2025

Founded in Kraków, KBCODE practises at the intersection of telepresence, cartography, and play — building software that lets one person stand in for another, anywhere on the map. Our specialisations are distributed systems, low-latency video, and the human-machine interfaces that bind them together.

Field Note № 02 — The Instrument

Avatar Platform.

Explore the world like never before.

Avatar Platform is a marketplace and live-streaming network that joins two parties separated by thousands of kilometres into a single, shared moment. An Operator opens the world atlas, books an Avatar — a real human on the ground — and is then carried through a Tōkyō alley, a Patagonian fjord, or the lobby of a museum after closing hours, in real time, through their phone.

It is travel without the borders, the visas, the carbon, or the budget. It is a way to be present in places one's own body cannot reach.

    The Operator

    Directs the journey. Sees what the Avatar sees. Hears what the Avatar hears. Steers gaze with the right thumb, locomotion with the left.

    The Avatar

    The body on location, equipped, vetted, paid by the platform. Receives the Operator's prompts; relays scene, sound, and signage.

    The Platform

    Secure two-way wallet. The unseen apparatus binding the pair.

    A filterable globe of avatars — by language, specialism, rating, and current availability. Pre-book your guide weeks ahead, or commission one in the next quarter-hour.

    Real-time HD stream

    The Avatar's senses become yours, with a latency you stop noticing.

  • 03

    Twin-thumb controls

    A control language borrowed from the games room. Left thumb steers, right thumb gazes — fluent in minutes, expressive for hours.

    Avatar specialisations

    Each Avatar arrives with their own craft — a parkour runner, a sommelier, a museum docent after hours. Pick the specialist whose hands turn a stop on the map into an experience nobody else could deliver.

    Vetted ledger

    Encrypted two-way wallet, rated avatars, dispute resolution, tiered commissions that reward sustained excellence on the supply side.

    Field equipment

    Stabilised cameras, drones, kayaks, bicycles for the harder maps — provisioned through the platform when the geography demands it.
